If you are getting ready to sell your home, I highly recommend getting it staged. Especially if you are no longer living in your home, have minimal furniture, or are just unsure of how to arrange things. Empty homes don’t show as well as lived-in homes. Homes are Flying Off the "Streets"

A busy, busy weekend here. First, one of my two new listings is already under contract. After a successful Open House (21 attendees), 834 West 35th Street received 4 offers between Saturday and Sunday, allowing the sellers to accept a contract over their asking price... Incredible! And, I'm expecting an offer on my other new listing, 2918 Hudson Street, today or tomorrow. That's not all, an offer was also received on my Fairmount Avenue property (on the market 25 days), and I have a potential offer coming in on a property in Roland Park that has yet to hit the market! 

If you're thinking about selling, I couldn't think of a better time than now. Both the weather and the market are heating up. People are out and ready to buy!

Spring has Sprung!


I've been busy the last two weeks preparing to send out my latest newsletter (send me your address if you're interested in receiving my bi-monthly Real Estate newsletter). I've just finished up and am ready to get back to weekly blogging. Remember when I told you about there being a busy spring market? Well, it's here! I just listed two new homes this week, one in Canton and one in Hampden, and I'm just getting started! With three more listing coming in the next few weeks (Roland Park, Canton, Federal Hill), I'm sure to keep busy this spring (no complaints here!).


Are you thinking about putting your home on the market? Started working on the curb appeal now (or yesterday really)! Spring is when a lot a buyers are finally excited about getting out and looking at homes, especially after the long winter we've had here in Baltimore. And lucky for sellers spring is also the time of year when most homes/yards look their best! Spiff up the outside of your home with some landscaping, colorful plants, a fresh coat of paint, etc. It'll make a world of difference! It's common practice for buyers to pass by a home and feel it out before going back with their agent... and if you're home looks sub-par from the outside, they may change their mind about it. A beautiful exterior will convince buyers that it will be worth their time to view the interior.
