Whether you're a first time home buyer or have bought multiple houses, there are some keys things you need to keep in mind.
- Know the Costs: It always pays off to be prepared. Make sure you are aware of all the costs associated with buying a home and be sure to factor them into your budget.
- Location: Do your research ahead of time. This way you'll be able to narrow your search down to the neighborhood you want to live in. And you won't waste you're time looking at homes outside your ideal neighborhood
- Size: How much home do you need? If you're a growing family, keep that in mind so your house isn't bursting at the seems in a few years.
- Credit: How is your credit? Better to find out now before starting your home search.
- Family: Do you have kids, or are expecting to within the time that you plan to own your home? Keep school districts in mind.
- Get Pre-Approved!: Do this before setting out to look at homes. Nothing is worse then finding your dream home in what you think will be your available budget only to find after that you can't afford it.
- Find the Right Agent: It is important to be comfortable with your Real Estate agent. Find someone you can trust and depend on to fight for you!!
